Guru Prafulla Behera Award & Cultural Festival 2024

SUPREETAM's annual Raja Mauja Utsav held on the month June 2024 at Gopal prasad field, was a vibrant celebration of Odisha's rich cultural heritage. Graced by notable figures such as Sj. Daitari Panda, the renowned Odia Jatra actor and Sj. Aswini Kumar Patra, MLA of Jaleswar, the festival featured a captivating blend of performances, competitions and social messages. A standout was a gripping social drama performed by SUPREETAM's students. The festival also included mesmerizing performances like "Ahe Nila Saila" Odissi dance by Vid. Kavita Dwibedi, and classical renditions by Guru Rupak Kumar Parida. The event highlighted various competitions such as dance, song and Puchi Khela, with winners receiving accolades for their artistry. Guru Prafulla Behera Award 2024 was presented to Sj. Madhab Ch. Pradhan, while Vid. Kavita Dwibedi and Guru Rupak Kumar Parida received the Bhaktakabi Dinakrushna Das Award 2024.

The event highlighted various competitions such as dance, song and Puchi Khela, with winners receiving accolades for their artistry. Guru Prafulla Behera Award 2024 was presented to Sj. Madhab Ch. The Guru Prafulla Behera Award & Cultural Festival 2023 took place at Khanabad Field, Raibania, celebrating Odisha's rich artistic heritage. Graced by Mr. Akshay Kumar Mishra and Mr. Jogesh Kumar Raul, the event featured vibrant competitions in Dance, Song, Puchi Khela, Jhooti Muruja and Art, showcasing local talent, especially among youth. The prestigious Guru Prafulla Behera Award 2023 was conferred upon Sj. Uday Kumar Sahoo, a renowned Pala Gayaka, and the Bhaktakabi Dinakrushna Award 2023 went to Mr. Goura Das, a popular Jollywood star. The evening included mesmerizing performances by Mandiraa School of Odissi, Maa Sharada Dance Akademi and others. The festival was a resounding success, honoring artistic contributions and preserving Odisha's cultural traditions.

Guru Prafulla Behera Award & Cultural Festival 2022

The Raja Mauja Festival 2022, held at Dakhin Praharaj Pur Field, was a grand celebration of Odisha's cultural heritage. Graced by Mr. Aswini Kumar Patra (Minister of culture, govt. of Odisha) and Dr. Srikant Charan Patra, the festival featured 200 participants in dance, song, puchi khela and art, with winners receiving prizes. Highlights included the presentation of the Guru Prafulla Behera Award 2022 to Sj. Samanta Behera and the Bhaktakabi Dinakrushna Award 2022 to Guru Ratikant Mohapatra and Guru Subash Ram. The event featured mesmerizing performances, including Odissi dance, Gotipuo dance, folk dance and music. A statue of Guru Prafulla Behera was unveiled and a sand art installation by Mr. Ajay Kumar Ghose added to the festival's artistic brilliance.

Graced by Mr. Manmath Khatua and Mr. Brundaban Behera, the event featured over 200 children in competitions including dance, song, puchi khela and art. Highlights included the presentation of the Guru Prafulla Behera Award 2019 to Guru Pramoth Kumar Ghose and the Bhaktakabi Dinakrushna Das Award 2019 to Miss Chhandita Padhi. The cultural performances included a duet Odissi dance by Guru Nityanand Das and Guru Bijay Kumar Dash, a soulful Adhunik Song by Mitu Manas and a poignant sand art installation on Beti Bachao..Beti Padhao.

The Raja Mauja Festival 2018, hosted by Supreetam at Bhandaripalli Baba Ragadeswar Shiv Mandir Field, was a vibrant celebration of culture. Graced by Mr. Aswini Kumar Patra, M.L.A. of Jaleswar and Mr. Umakanta Behera, President of Ragadeswar Club, the event featured competitions in dance, song, puchi khela and art. Guru Brundaban Behera was honored with the Guru Prafulla Behera Award 2018. Cultural highlights included a mesmerizing Odissi performance by Guru Nityanand Das and Guru Bijay Kumar Dash and an energetic Gotipuo dance by Rudrakshya troupe. The event also included a community service initiative with water distribution.

Vasant Panchami Utsav 2015

In June 2015, Supreetam hosted its inaugural Vasant Panchami Utsav at the Triveni Auditorium in New Delhi. The event was graced by Guru Kishanmohan Maharaj, a renowned Kathak dancer, as the chief guest. The festival featured stunning performances, including Guru Mouli Nandi from America showcasing Odissi dance and Guru Biltu Sarkar and his troupe performing Kathak. The highlight of the evening was a mesmerizing Odissi performance by Guru Samir Kumar Behera and the talented artists of Supreetam Kala Kendra. The event beautifully celebrated Basant Panchami and brought together diverse classical dance forms, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.

Subarnarekha Dance Festival 2015

The Subarnarekha Dance Festival 2015, hosted by Supreetam in January at Jaleswar Badabazar Field, was a vibrant celebration of Odisha's rich cultural heritage. The festival was graced by Mr. Bijay Mohanty, the renowned Odia film star and Prof. Bhabani Biswal, a celebrated Chhau dancer. A key highlight was the presentation of the Guru Prafulla Behera Award 2015 to Guru Suresh Chakravarty for his contributions to Hindustani classical music and the Bhaktakabi Dinakrushna Award 2015 to Mr. Bijay Mohanty for his influence on Odia theatre and cinema. The event featured stunning performances, including Odissi by Guru Shivnarayan Banerjee (Kolkata), Shiv Tandav by Guru Nityanand Das (Bhubaneswar), Belly dance by Miss Nitisha Nanda (New Delhi) and Gotipuo dance troup from Konark and Chhow dance performances, captivating an audience of over 8,000.

Subarnarekha Dance Festival 2011

The Subarnarekha Dance Festival 2011, held in June at the Baipatna Shiv Mandir Complex, was a dazzling celebration of classical arts, featuring 45 students from Supreetam and 50 national and international artists. The festival was graced by the esteemed Guru Subash Das as the Chief Guest and Dr. Bibekanada Sahoo, Principal of Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Jaleswar, as the Guest of Honour. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Dr. Sonal Mansingh Award 2011 to Guru Samonath Pradhan for his contribution to Odissi dance and the Bhaktakabi Dinakrushna Award 2011 to Guru Subash Das for his work in Odissi classical music and bhajans. The festival featured stunning performances, including a spellbinding Odissi dance by GINWA's artists from Bhubaneswar, folk and Bengali dances by Supreetam Kala Kendra and a captivating Chhau dance by Guru Ramani Ranjan Jena from Bhubaneswar. The evening concluded with a dance drama Shilpi, a tribute to Odisha's artistic spirit.

The event was graced by Mr. Ashrumochan Mohanty, the renowned Odia film star, as Chief Guest, Shri Deviprasanna Chand, MLA of Jaleswar, as Guest of Honour, and Dr. Srikant Charan Patra, Odisha Sahitya Akademi Awardee, as the Special Guest. A significant moment of the evening was the recognition of Guru Saroj Kumar Mishra, who received the Dr. Sonal Mansingh Award 2010 for his outstanding contribution to Odissi dance. The festival, with its 7,000-strong audience, showcased the beauty of Odissi, evolving into a cultural platform that continues to inspire and celebrate Odisha's rich traditions.
